Spring Camping Retreat: Delaware Water Gap Area

Join us at Fairview Lakes near the Delaware Water Gap the weekend of June 6-8 for a program of adventure and connection for families with children of elementary and middle school age.
We'll have our own dedicated area with 6 cabins in the woods set just back from the lake. Each family will have their own cabin. We are limited to 6 families. The fee for a family of 4 is $600 and the fee for additional children is $75 each. Each family will be expected to bring and prepare a meal for the group. We will be sharing many of the adventures that we've done in the past with fathers and daughters along with some new programming for the whole family.
Come
participate in a weekend for families seeking to do something special
and different together. Led by experienced group facilitators
and outdoor education specialists, this will be an opportunity
to have fun, experience new outdoor adventures, increase your
appreciation of the natural world, and deepen your relationships
in a setting free from telephones, T.V. and computers.
The program will include:

course • Hiking
the Appalachian Trail • Introduction
to outdoor survival skills, building a survival
shelter • Energizing
group challenges and conversations

What is the cost?
$600 for a family of four (additional children are $75 each)
The weekend will be limited to 6 families
Who are the facilitators? Ira Orchin, PhD and Joyce Orchin, MA, CP
What are the accomodations? We
will be staying in rustic cabins with separate accommodations
for each family. The cabins
have bunk beds with mattresses. There is a bathhouse
a few yards away with hot showers and flush toilets.
What happens next? Upon receipt of your registration and
payment, we will contact you to discuss the weekend and send
an information packet including a schedule of activities and
