Spring Camping Retreat: Delaware Water Gap Area

For 3rd, 4th and 5th grade girls and their Dads
Come
participate in a weekend for fathers and their 3rd, 4th and 5th grade daughters seeking to do something special
and different together. Led by experienced group facilitators
and outdoor education specialists, this will be an opportunity
to have fun, experience new outdoor adventures, increase your
appreciation of the natural world, and deepen your relationships
in a setting free from telephones, T.V. and computers.
The program will include:
• Campfire
games • Ropes
course • Hiking
the Appalachian Trail • Introduction
to outdoor survival skills, building a survival
shelter • Energizing
group challenges and conversations
Who is it for?
Fathers*
with their 3rd, 4th and 5th grade daughters. The weekend will be limited to 10-12 father*-daughter pairs.
Where is it?
Fairview
Lake YMCA Camp Newton, New Jersey

WHAT ARE THE ACCOMODATIONS? We
will be staying in rustic cabins with separate accommodations
for men and girls. The cabins
have bunk beds with mattresses. There is a bathhouse
